Everyheartisasong is headed by a trained composer and song writer who has written for all sorts of ensembles from rock bands through jazz groups to symphony orchestras. His work is widely published and internationally known.
All sorts of musicians can be hired from a soprano through to a saxophonist. The studios we access are run by some of the most experienced producers around, and so we are confident that the music you will receive will sound totally professional.
Colin Tommis studied composition with the esteemed Welsh composer William Mathias.
As a guitarist he has performed on live BBC1 television, STV, Norwegian television and BBC radio 2. He is also a pianist and orchestral violin player. One of his orchestral pieces, “Tales of derring do” has entered the repertoire of the Welsh Sinfonia and has been performed by them 4 times in the past year. His music is published by 6 publishing houses: ABRSM, Edition Chanterelle, Friedrich Hofmeister, Bardic Edition, Corda Music and Les Productions d’OZ.
Your input will involve telling us all about the dedicatee ( likes, dislikes, memorable events in their life, etc) and the sort of mood you wish to create. We will discuss this with you either by email, telephone or Skype and reach a thorough understanding of the emotions you wish to convey.
It is a song from you to the dedicatee, and as such it must resonate with you both. You can even write some of the lyrics for us to set to music. At all times, you will be fully consulted and advised of the progress of your music.
No. We retain all rights to the work include copyrights and mechanical reproduction rights. We grant you the right to share this with friends providing we are always credited with the creation and a link to the website in included.
We reserve the right to use the work in our promotions and welcome the chance to highlight you as a satisfied client. No other use for this work will be undertaken without your prior written consent.
A basic fee covers the writing of lyrics and music of at least 2 minutes duration and the 3 strand of service are outlined at song ordering options.
Most things are possible and the service is restricted only by your budget. If you want an orchestra to accompany your song, we can do it, but the hiring of 50 musicians and studios where we can fit them is more expensive!
No. You can of course request more. You can ask for a whole orchestra or choir to play your song or music. You can ask for a gold album to hang on a wall. You can even request a live performance at a venue. If such requests are made we will tell you the extra cost and adjust the contract to suit.
We ask for a staged payment of 50% and 50% for the Bronze music. If after the music is written you are unhappy with the result, we will offer a complete refund AFTER writing but BEFORE recording and production commences. After we have been given the go ahead to record and finalise your purchase, no refund is possible because fees will have already been paid to creators. However, if we fail to deliver by the agreed date, a complete refund will be made.
We ask for a staged payment 30%, 30% and 40% for the Silver and Gold songs. This is for A. initial writing, B. revising, and C. the recording, mastering, and final delivery to you of all the components. If after the music is written and revised (stages A and B) you are unhappy with the result, we will offer a complete refund BEFORE recording and production commences. After we have been given the go ahead to record and finalise your purchase, (the final 40%) no refund is possible because fees will have already been paid to creators. However, if we fail to deliver by the agreed date, a complete refund will be made.
The writing can be quite quick but it can take longer to organise studio time and musicians and of course the CD or vinyl printing adds extra time.
The more notice we receive, the better - try to think at least one month ahead.
